Print the PDF’s “Quick Reference Cue Card” (page 12) to carry on walks. Do not skip the “distraction phase” – most handler failures occur because they increase distance before increasing distraction.
The PDF is not the product; the trainer’s real-time feedback is. The guide organizes the information, but the corrections (e.g., “you’re waiting too long to click”) make the difference.
However, if your dog ignores you in the backyard, lunges at squirrels, or bolts out open doors, then the is best used as a companion to the in-person class. The guide alone cannot teach you timing, body language, or how to read your dog’s stress signals.
