Macrium Reflect will skip the unreadable sector and fill the backup with zeros (or the best available recovery data). Your image will be created, but any file located in that bad sector will be corrupted. This is ideal for getting a usable backup of a failing drive.
A single "Read failed 23" is a warning shot. Multiple occurrences are a death knell for your hard drive. Backup your data immediately using the methods above, then replace the failing drive.
