A cataclysmic attack by series veteran Chris Redfield—who shockingly murders Mia and kidnaps both Ethan and Rose—throws the player into a blizzard-ravaged village. After a horrific car crash, Ethan awakens in a dungeon, only to discover his daughter has been dismembered (yes, literally) by a deranged cult of noblewomen known as the "Four Lords." To save Rose, Ethan must traverse the village, defeat these Lords, and reassemble his daughter’s crystalline body.
