This is the first question most DJs ask. To use the DDJ-SB2 with Rekordbox, you generally need a Rekordbox subscription plan (Stable, Creative, or Professional). The free "Core" plan often does not support external hardware outputs without a specific license key. Assuming you have the license sorted, the next step is purely technical: getting the Mac to recognize the audio interface.

If you're using a newer Mac with an M1 or M2 chip, you may find better performance by upgrading to at least 16GB of RAM to handle the latest rekordbox features smoothly.
