Blackmagic - Multibridge Utility
Do not try to use this on macOS Ventura or Windows 11. It will fail. Keep a dedicated old workstation (like a 2012 Mac Pro or an old Dell Precision) for your Multibridge.
If the Multibridge Utility displays a "No Device Connected" message, it is usually due to one of three things: blackmagic multibridge utility
The Multibridge does not show up as a webcam. You must use the Blackmagic WDM Capture driver (Windows) or the QuickTime component (Mac). In OBS, add a "Blackmagic Device" source. In DaVinci Resolve, go to Capture and Playback preferences and select the Multibridge as your capture device. Do not try to use this on macOS Ventura or Windows 11

The broadcast world is fragmented. A production house in Europe might require PAL or 1080i/50, while a US-based studio needs NTSC or 1080i/59.94. The MultiBridge Utility provided a simple dropdown menu to switch between these standards instantly. This flexibility allowed facilities to handle international projects without changing hardware.
