Or, gently heat the shield with a hair dryer and bend it inward. | | Window auto-reverse (bounces down) | In-channel shield too thick | Shim the shield with a plastic trim tool to reduce pressure. Alternatively, trim 1mm of rubber from the window channel using a utility knife (warranty voiding – last resort). | | Adhesive lifting at corners | Surface was cold or oily | Remove the shield (see below). Re-clean with acetone (carefully) and reapply using 3M Super Strength Adhesive. | | Shield rattles over bumps | Loose in the channel | Apply 3M double-sided foam tape to the underside of the shield’s clip. Do not use silicone caulk. |
