In httpd.conf , ensure Require local is set. For remote access (development only), change to Require all granted . Never use Require all granted on a production server. IIS (Internet Information Services)
By default, web servers listen on Port 80. If you have other software installed—such as Skype, IIS (Internet Information Services), or other local server tools—they might already be occupying Port 80. While WampServer can work around this, a clean Port 80 ensures a smoother startup.
